We’re smart. But we’re not that smart.
It would be an oversimplification to say that back in 2005 we saw a future need in the marketplace for high-tech consulting services and then simply set out to fill it. In truth, the need was already there, and while existing players were filling it, they weren’t adequately meeting the needs of both employers and employees.
Leading up to that time, we had some of the best seats in the house to see the action unfold while working at Microsoft. What we saw was an emerging trend, one that the existing marketplace wasn’t well positioned to serve long term. It was clear to us that ready-access to specialized, top-notch talent was evolving from a stopgap measure to an ongoing, strategic operational imperative.
For today’s thriving tech businesses, they need ongoing help finding and hiring people with the right skills. But more than that, they require broader, programmatic support. Often what’s required is a strategic partner in the overall development of a creative-based project, or to implement new technologies, or to manage services that fall outside of their core business.
We’re passionate about the strong partnerships we’ve developed over the past 10 years, helping the leading consumer and technology companies both drive these trends and manage the impact of them. In such a dynamic industry, they say the best way to predict your future is to create it. If that’s true, then we’re happy to be helping our clients create theirs.
