An avid supporter of the Seattle’s Humane Society, Xtreme was thrilled to show its enthusiasm for the organization’s cause at its 24th Annual Tuxes and Tails gala. This special evening brings together more than 900 animal lovers and supporters to celebrate, bid on fabulous auction items and support the life-saving work of the Seattle Humane Society. An incredible event, Xtreme was proud to be named a Grand Champion Sponsor for the second year in a row. Our commitment speaks to our strong belief in the SHS’s mission and our commitment to advancing the organization in all they do.
The Tuxes & Tails gala was held on May 11, 2013 at the Bellevue Regency Hyatt. Greg Rankich, Xtreme CEO and Dale Johns, Xtreme VP of Recruiting, attended the monumental event. The gala included a dinner, celebrity guests, entertainment and a live and silent auction to help find homes for animals in the Humane Society’s care. Dale commented on the event, “A great event hosted by a great organization. I was very impressed with how well organized it was and the massive turnout they received. There were a lot of familiar local celebrities and personalities. Well over $1M was raised and a lot of cats and dogs found loving homes.” Dale, along with the whole Xtreme Team, felt fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of the event and contribute to its positive impact in the community.
This year’s event attracted amazing contributors from all over Seattle, hosted over 1,000 attendees, and raised a record-breaking $1.6 million in a single night, up from last year’s $1.2 million. Greg commented, “Xtreme is honored to once again be a major sponsor and supporter of the annual Tuxes & Tails event to support the Seattle Humane Society. This year’s record fundraising event highlights the great community we live in and the incredible support this great organization receives.” Xtreme intends to continue our partnership with and commitment to the Humane Society.
