In May 2012, Xtreme took part in Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger Campaign by hosting an in-house food drive. Hopelink estimates when the school session ends, over 16,000 school-aged children may not have access to meals. The community plays a large role in providing food donations to local food banks and ensuring students don’t go hungry during the summer months.
Xtreme consultants were eager to get involved and watch their donations grow. Together, they raised over 200 pounds of food for Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger campaign.
“My wife and I have been involved with the Hopelink organization for several years,” said Doug Grenger, Xtreme Seattle based consultant. “When we introduced Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger Campaign to Xtreme, they jumped at the opportunity to get on board. It feels great to work at a company who shares an equal passion for the community as we do.”
Xtreme looks forward to hosting more Hopelink food drives in the future as well as helping the organization in other ways.
