Kirkland, WA – Xtreme Consulting Group’s CEO, Greg Rankich, was awarded with the 2017 Brotherton Cougar Spirit Award at the 38th Annual Recognition Gala on September 28th, 2017.
This award honors special individuals who demonstrate generous philanthropic support and enthusiastic volunteerism on behalf of Washington State University Athletics and Washington State University. Established in 2011, after the passing of beloved William F. Brotherton, this award honors the Brotherton legacy and generosity. Alongside the honor of the Brotherton award, the Brotherton Family created a scholarship endowment in memory of William F. Brotherton, to be awarded to a deserving WSU student-athlete each year.
As a devout Washington State University Alumni, Greg Rankich has passionately shown his support to his alma mater through various philanthropic opportunities. In 2011, Greg gave a generous donation of $3 million dollars, reaching the single-largest gift in Cougar Athletics history. This donation went to support the expansion and renovation of Martin Stadium on the Pullman campus. Along with his generosity in 2011, he continues to donate and show his support to Washington State University.
Greg is a passionate leader for those in the community that he serves and the employees that he leads. Leading by example, Greg ensures that he is inspiring others to donate whether it’s through donating to his alma mater, rallying volunteers to build homes for deserving families, or raising funds to help the fight against cancer. His efforts have shaped Xtreme Consulting into an organization with philanthropy as a core value.
